Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović and Ambassador of Japan to B&H Makoto Ito pointed out during today's meeting that B&H and Japan are friendly countries that have very good political relations, without open issues.
Both sides expressed a desire to improve economic cooperation and discussed the arrival of Japanese companies and the opening of their production facilities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The officials pointed out that this year marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Japan, the Presidency of B&H announced.
B&H Presidency member Džaferović underlined the constructive role of Japan as a member of the Peace Implementation Council (PIC) and thanked for the support and assistance provided by Japan to B&H in the past period.
