In the period January-November 2020, there were 458,505 visits of tourists to Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is 70.3 percent less than in the same period last year when 1,544,875 tourists visited B&H.
In the first 11 months of last year, tourists in B&H realized 1,155,033 overnight stays, which is 63.7 percent less compared to the same period in 2019 when 3,181,484 overnight stays were realized.
The number of overnight stays of domestic tourists was lower by 20.8 percent, while the number of overnight stays of foreign tourists was lower by 80.1 percent compared to the same period in 2019. The share of domestic tourists in the total number of overnight stays was 60.4 percent, while the share of foreign tourists was 39.6 percent, according to the B&H Statistics Agency.
In the period January - November 2020, most overnight stays were realized by tourists from Serbia (28.4 percent), Croatia (25.2 percent), Slovenia (4.8 percent), United Arab Emirates (4, 4 percent), Turkey (3.5 percent), Germany (3.1 percent) and Montenegro (3.0 percent), for a total of 72.4 percent. Tourists from other countries accounted for 27.6 percent of overnight stays.
