B&H Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik told Srna today that Republic of Srpska will continue to mark January 9th as RS Day.
- On the occasion of the celebration of January 9th, we hear long-known attitudes by which individuals are trying to challenge this date. That date is something that stays forever and lasts, as Republic of Srpska will last. The other two members of the Presidency believe that they have the right to do so, although that is not a matter for the Presidency of B&H - Dodik emphasized.
He pointed out that the inquisitors of the international community in the Constitutional Court of B&H are "traditionally directed against Serbs".
- The significance of January 9th - Republic Day will remain strongly imprinted in our people. This was expressed this year as well, when many of our citizens hoisted flags on their apartments, houses, balconies and cars, the holiday was celebrated with the family and there is no possibility that this fact will be changed - said Dodik.
He pointed out that the complaints regarding January 9th, which come from Sarajevo, have a "pathological political character".
- Everyone knows that the Constitutional Court of B&H is working against Serbs and the Republic of Srpska, which is confirmed by the decisions it made, and one of them is on January 9th. Such a Constitutional Court will break up B&H with its unconstitutional and criminal decisions directed against the Serb people and the Republic of Srpska. This court does not defend B&H, but destroys it because it does not respect the Constitution of B&H. A synonym for the Constitutional Court of B&H is political violence - said Dodik.
According to him, all decisions of the Constitutional Court of B&H that were made against the Republic of Srpska have no constitutional basis, including the decision on January 9th.
- The Constitutional Court is trying to impose positions on the Republic of Srpska and will continue to do so. The arrival of new judges shows that they are carefully selected and created personalities who should work against Serbs and the Republic of Srpska. The German who came was a priori against the Serbs. Despite everything, we remain committed to the Republic of Srpska, committed to January 9 thand our national interest - said Dodik.
