Although we referred to the Law on Freedom of Access to Information, the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies (DCPB) of B&H refused to provide us with the requested data related to the President of the Court of B&H Ranko Debevec and his travels.
In response to a press inquiry we sent to the Directorate, headed by Director Mirsad Vilić, when and how many times did their police officers drive the President of the Court of B&H to Spain and other destinations outside B&H, and whether the President of the Court of B&H, when he traveled, reported other persons, who are not members of his family, we got answers after three days.
- Regarding your inquiry, we would like to inform you that police officers of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of B&H are taking measures and actions to secure the President of the Court of B&H Ranko Debevec, in accordance with the Decision of the Council of Ministers of B&H, ie
The instruction on the scope and manner of performing the tasks of physical and technical security of persons, facilities and property – it is stated in the answer.
It is then stated that the protected person, ie the President of the Court of B&H Ranko Debevec, has 24-hour protection.
- We cannot submit data on the manner of performing insurance activities of the President of the Court (number of members, security tactics and methodology, vehicles, etc.) because they carry the level of secrecy according to the Law on Protection of Classified Information of B&H - reads the response of the DCPB B&H.
Vilić's escape from a specific issue in the field of describing the work of the DCPB is not surprising, given his closeness and dependence on President Debevec's best friend, ISA Director Osman Mehmedagić Osmica.
