B&H Defense Minister Sifet Podžić held a meeting with Czech Ambassador to B&H Ivana Hlavsova, and expressed gratitude for the Czech Republic's assistance to B&H so far on its path to the European Union and NATO.

Also, Podžić informed Hlavsova about the main activities of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of B&H. In addition, B&H Defense Minster expressed gratitude to the Czech Republic for its support for demining process in our country through the international project "Trust Fund" (ITF), with the hope that the demining process in our country will be completed by 2025.

Hlavsova pointed out that the Czech Republic supports the integration of B&H into the European Union and NATO, and that with its actions it wants to raise the awareness of the citizens of our country about the importance of that integration. Ambassador Hlavsova also highlighted the success of the Armed Forces of B&H which is proof that our country is capable of being a serious partner to all countries.

The interlocutors concluded that bilateral cooperation between the two countries is at an enviable level, and that the bilateral cooperation plan for this year will be signed soon, the B&H Ministry of Defense announced.
