The first phase of the project "Creating a more favorable environment for civil society - EMBRACE", within which 23 civil society organizations have implemented projects of great importance for 13 local communities in B&H, ended today in Sarajevo.

The EMBRACE project was funded by the Government of the Kingdom of Norway in the amount of 1,000,000 KM, and was implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

Despite the difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, all projects have been successfully implemented. It has contributed to civil society in areas such as social inclusion, support in providing services to vulnerable groups in society, youth work, activism and volunteerism, gender equality, and environmental and human rights protection.

All organizations that participated in the project were awarded equipment in the total value of approximately 50,000 KM, which should help the smooth continuation of work with users of their services in local communities.
