The Municipal Board of SBB Centar Sarajevo asks the Mayor of this municipality, Mr. Srđan Mandić, to urgently correct the mistake and to continue the long tradition of distributing backpacks, books and school supplies to students before the new school year, said the Municipal Board of SBB Centar.

- We were surprised by the news that the Municipality of Centar and Mayor Mandić will not donate supplies to students this year, despite the budget of 56 million marks. Regardless of who personally and politically led the Municipality of Centar for the past 10 or more years, we believe that this project was commendable and our councilors have always supported it.

Therefore, the intentions of the administration of Mayor Mandić are completely unclear to us, and we invite him to find a way to continue this traditional project in these few days, before the beginning of the new school year, which significantly helped parents, ie citizens who contribute to the budget.

There is money, and no one has the right to allow himself to take something from children and not as a municipality to invest in their knowledge and progress of our community - it was announced from the SBB Press Center.
