French President Emmanuel Macron spoke with the mayors of Sarajevo, Mostar, Banja Luka and Bijeljina at the Paris Peace Forum.
- They represent the renewal of Bosnia and Herzegovina political elites with a program of innovative action at the head of their cities, especially in the field of anti-corruption and sustainable development. Every day, they prove the ability of Bosnia and Herzegovina to give birth to a new generation of young political leaders who work for the unity of the country - Macron wrote on Facebook.
He thanked for the conversation in the Elysee Palace and for participating in the Paris Peace Forum.
The Paris Peace Forum, which brings together numerous leaders of international organizations and heads of state or government, is dedicated to economic recovery after the coronavirus pandemic this year.
The Paris Peace Forum was launched by Macron in 2018, on the centenary of the end of the First World War, with the goal of promoting multilateralism, and was symbolically opened by German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
