The extended session of the HDZ BiH Presidency in Kupres was held yesterday at which they discussed the current political processes and negotiations on the reform of the B&H Election Law as a key political issue that will guide all future relations, especially in the Federation of B&H.

Also, the functioning of institutions at all levels of government and security issues were the topics of an extended session of the Presidency.

It was emphasized that rhetoric that disrupts interethnic relations and that the public is witnessing cannot contribute to anything but the nationalist particular goals of certain policies.

It was highlighted that the future electoral legislation provides the necessary preconditions for holding the 2022 General Elections and regulates all existing unconstitutional anomalies and prevents discrimination, imposition of political representatives and majoritarianism.

The B&H Election Law must enable legitimate political representation with equal active and passive voting rights for all and be in line with the B&H Constitution.

It was pointed out that the Presidency of B&H and the House (s) of Peoples (B&H and FB&H) cannot be discriminated against because in the Dayton Peace Agreement they are set as institutional frameworks based on equal representation and legitimate representation of constituent peoples.

These institutions serve as a balance of the majority and consensus model, similar to all other multinational states across Europe and the world.
