A session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH is underway, at which the crisis in Ukraine is being discussed.
During the discussion, concrete measures will be considered to provide assistance to Ukraine and its citizens.
Representatives of parties from RA are not present at the session, due to the fact that they believe that the session was convened to deepen the crisis in BiH, and they said that foreign policy is not a topic for the BiH Parliament, but the BiH Presidency.
The first to speak for the discussion was the representative of the Alliance for a Better Future (Savez za bolju budućnost BiH - SBB), Edita Đapo.
- I think that with this session we sent a very important message from BiH. Regardless of whether the people of Ukraine are at war or somewhere in exile, they need help, just as we needed it. This reminds us of what we survived. We need to remind ourselves of Croatia that received our refugees, we must never forget that - said Đapo.
She reminded that Russia is a member of the PIC (Peace Implementation Council).
- How can Russia, which is the aggressor, work on implementing peace? That is nonsense. I am asking for its immediate suspension from the PIC - said Đapo.
