RALLY IN ZENICA

Radončić: Will Bosniaks stay on the right, pro-Western path, or will we go to the Bey's government and colonial environment

A pre-election rally of the parties of the united opposition was held in Zenica today, which supported the candidacy of Denis Bećirović for the Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency in the upcoming general elections.

The leader of Savez za bolju budućnost BiH (SBB), Fahrudin Radončić, addressed the gathering.

- Today I want to speak on two or three topics, many of which are running away, for a reason, and which directly concern not only the result of these elections, not only whether the respected Denis will be in the Presidency, but whether Bosniaks will remain in the right place, the pro-Western way or we will go to the Bey's government and colonial environment - said Radončić.

Bećirović against two SDA candidates

He reminded that Denis Bećirović is fighting against two SDA candidates - Bakir Izetbegović and Željko Komšić.

- Komšić is also a SDA candidate. Let's not stay silent, it's true. He said, I quote him, "that these laws that are being prepared in the OHR are really deeply anti-Islamic above all".

Someone is turning our children, high school students, against the West. After that, Turkish President Erdoğan came, and we want good relations with Turkey.

He says "Dear brothers, the West exists to divide and tear Muslims apart, and then it will swallow them up. It is you who will be the biggest obstacle to that".

Who scares us with the West?

Someone here is scaring us with the West. Who scares us with the West? The people to whom the late Alija, and I was friends with him, left, as some claim, the land in trust, are scaring us with the West - said Radončić.

He recalled the statement of the late Alija Izetbegović at the summit of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, when he spoke about the West in selected words.

- A good friend of mine, and I thank him for that, gave me a statement by the late Alija Izetbegović, who said the following on the subject of East and West, our Muslims and our relationship with the West.

- The West is neither corrupt nor degenerate. The "rotten West" paid dearly for this self-deception, the communist system paid. The West is not rotten. It is strong, educated and organized. Its schools are better than ours and their cities are cleaner than ours.

The level of human rights in the West is higher, and social care for the poor and less able is better organized.

Westerners are mostly responsible and punctual people. Such are my experiences with them, says Alija. I also know the dark sides of their progress and do not lose sight of them. Late Alija said this at the summit of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, meaning in front of the most representative leaders of the Islamic world.

A secular state

What do I want to say? 25 years ago, the late Alija was a wiser, smarter and greater statesman than those who now boast of continuing his work, and there is no progress or success for us Bosniaks if they turn us against the West. No one can make Talibas of our children so that we hate Western civilization. Thanks to America, the EU, and other countries, the second, third, and God forbid, planned genocide was stopped. We have to talk about these things because their campaign is based on who is considered good and who is considered bad Muslim.

We want a pro-Western, secular state in which we will preserve our Bosniakism and our autochthonous Islam. We want a country that will not be managed by Belgrade, Zagreb, or Istanbul, and we think that candidate Denis Bećirović is exactly the kind of person who will make this possible.

I won't take more of your time, there are too many of us on this side. You had Mr. Bakir as a member of the Presidency for eight years, Mr. Komšić for 12, that's 20. You had Ficus for four years, that's 24 years. So if in 24 years they are not able to open a serious European or Western door, to bring in a big investor, to build highways, what are they lying to us about and telling us for sure.

Who stopped us, there was neither Vučić nor Dodik, to build the highway Sarajevo-Bihać, Sarajevo-Tuzla, to build transversals. We were stopped by those who are looking for our vote and who deceived us on all occasions, such as the City Council, and in the end they apologized to Mr. Nikšić and me on television. Don't apologize to Radončić or Nikšić, apologize to your people, the victims of genocide. You should apologize to them, and ypu again ask them to vote for you.

So, dear brothers and sisters, we are entering a historical battle and a battle of what Bosnia and Herzegovina will look like. When the water is cloudy, let's go back to the source.

We are leading Bosnia and Herzegovina to where we have always belonged, to the family of European nations, and we are preserving our authentic national, religious and multi-ethnic features of the state.

Denis is a man who will not create conflicts, who will not create agreed conflicts with Dodik and Čović, but will be upright, and I was a delegate in the House of Peoples and I worked with him for at least a year, knowing that he leads this country honestly and correctly.

And don't fall for nonsense about who is who for longer on the budget, but go to the thesis of who caused capital damage to Bosnia and Herzegovina, which we must urgently repair. Good luck to the winner, thank you very much - said Fahrudin Radončić.
