A few days ago, hackers tried to hack into the server of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), but the members of this agency managed to repel the attack, which means that the agency's system is currently under the control of IT experts working on maintenance.
This information was confirmed for "Avaz" by Darko Ćulum, director of SIPA.
- We reacted in time and the attack was repelled - says Ćulum.
We learn that at one point there was no electricity in the SIPA building, nor were the phones working. It is being checked to see if it is related to an intrusion attempt. It has been confirmed to us that additional aggregates were included in order for the system to work.
When it comes to the website of the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it is still under "blockade". For now, it is being checked from where the virus was introduced into the system.
More than 300 computers are being checked with a virus that locked the site.
"Avaz's" sources claim that police agencies fear a hacker attack on the CEC's servers, during the elections scheduled for October 2.
